#WEB-O-LOGY

The annual technology fest of B.P.PODDAR INSTITUTE OF MANAGEMENT AND TECHNOLOGY i.e.TECHSTORM 2.23 is organizing a UI design based hackathon this year. Students from all over the country are invited to participate in this brainstorming competition and come up with innovative solutions to the problems.

RULES AND REGULATION

1. Team Size = 2(max) or Solo Participation

2. Registration Fee :- In-College Students : Rs 100

Outside College Students : Rs 150

3. The event will be organized completely in offline mode at B.P.P.I.M.T VIP ROAD campus.

4. The competition will run over a period of 6 hours.

5. Participants are requested to carry Identity proof with them either College ID card or VoterCard/Adhar Card.

6. Participation in the event is subjected to a “per team” basis, i.e. one person in not allowed to be a part of more than one team.

7. Teams can have members from different backgrounds or colleges.

8. The topics for the UI design hackathon will be provided to the participants 10 minutes before the starting time of the event.

9. Participants are requested to carry their own laptop and other relevant items, if they feel they are more comfortable with it.

10. Participants are expected to make a website (only frontend) within the given time limit, relevant to the topic provided. Making the website responsive is a plus and will lead to additional points .

11. The list of permissible languages includes HTML, CSS and JavaScript. Use of Bootstrap or any other CSS framework is not allowed. Use of JS frameworks like React JS , Next JS is not allowed.

12. All decisions taken by the organizers and judges will be final and binding.

13. Use of pre-made templates or code written before the event is strictly prohibited.

14. Participants are expected to maintain a Github repository and regularly commit there progress throughout the event and submit it at the end of the contest.

15. Your first commit should be an HTML boilerplate with empty CSS and JS file attached. All further commits will be closely monitored.

16. Any commits made after the deadline will be ignored.
